Romance Author Cherie Amour's Website

I needed a few minutes' break since I've been writing for several hours now and decided to post a blog on my site. I hadn't realized it had been that long since I last posted something. Boy, it amazes me how quickly time passes.

So what's been happening:

Well, life has been good, but busy as usual. I'm working on several projects and at times feel like I'm being pulled in a thousand directions at once, but that's when I know I'm over working and stressing myself out. Then I just set everything aside and either go out for a long walk or decide to paint or just cook. Each is the perfect anecdote for stress and helps me get focused again. I'm hoping once three big projects I've been working on are completed by early December then I can take some time off. I haven't had much time for anything other than writing and editing. And although they are my favorite pastimes, I need to do more promoting as well.

Now that I know "Memories Forgotten" my medievil historical romance story will be coming out  some time in November with Amira Press, I'll be planning contests and promo for it. You can check back on my blog here and my new one at Word Press for updates on the contests I'll be having.

Thanks to friends' coaxing, I decided to open a blog there. They have been raving about it for so long, I finally tried it out. I tweaked the page a bit, but need to work with it some more to figure everything out.

That is my biggest weakness, I'm not technically savvy, especially with the Net. Truthfully, I find it boggling at times.

I also saw this nice review I got for "Hard at Work" from Whipped Cream. Here’s an excerpt:
